The 1.0-liter EcoBoost is also known as the Ford Fox and has been available in Europe since 2012 starting with the Focus and Fiesta. However, it wasn’t offered in North America until much later. The Focus received a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder during the 2015 refresh as an added-cost option (to the 2.0-liter) for the SE trim.
Posted July 10, 2021. Got an fiesta ecoboost 1.0 2013. For a couple months on startup I’d get the oil light and warning come up for literally 2 seconds and go off, questioned this at a garage and with a couple of mechanics and they said probably sensor fault aslong as it’ll goes out it’ll be fine. last week engine started to feel like it

Hi I've had a red oil light come up on my ecoboost 1.0, there is a rattle to the car when I start it up and is idle but it goes when it's been on for a minute or so, the oil has been changed before the light came on so its not the oil being low. Could it be the oil pump that's stopped working or something

It is the shorter stubby one, Ford part number: 2 207 993.
